Title: When God Builds It They Will Come
Date: January 28, 2008
This past Sunday we celebrated the Grand Opening of our new facility. It seems like yesterday we were watching the very first bulldozer break ground on our 47 acre piece of property. God has been faithful and it was exciting to open our doors to the community and host over 3,100 men, women and children for our two morning services.
Last week we did something we've never done before. We promoted our Grand Opening through radio and television. The response was overwhelming as we heard replies from our neighbors, co-workers, grocery checkers, hairstylists, doctors and even complete strangers about the TV and radio spots. (Click on video below to view commercial) Many of them wished us well, but many of them came to check it out for themselves. That's so awesome. I'm grateful for C3 Church and thankful that God has given us a vision to reach lost and hurting people. And I'll remember that when God builds it...they will come!

Title: At The Cross
Date: September 8, 2007
I can't believe it's finally here! Our 98 foot tall cross is now a permanant fixture for all the world to see, especially to those who drive by on Cleveland Road. Seeing it in person for the first time today was a dramatic and sentimental experience. Just 2 months ago we were tossing our "Rocks For The Cross" in the foundation, believing that those loved ones will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Nothing could be more important than that.
This DREAM Update Weekend we will be gathering at the cross after every service to dedicate it to the Lord. I'm convinced that these days are "defining moments" in the life of C3 and I'm so privileged to be a part of them. Be sure to stop by and see the progress that is happening in our facility. Our target date to occupy is December 1, 2007. That's only 3 months away! And because we are getting into our facility earlier than expected we also need the finances to come in as well. So I ask you...Keep praying, keep giving and keep believing God for a miracle!
Let's experience the DREAM together,
Chris Pipes
Title: Rocks for the Cross
Date: July 9, 2007
Only 6 months away from occupying our new facility and it is really coming
along. Since my last blog entry so much has happened in the construction
that it is mind boggling. The exterior is almost complete and the interior
is shaping up with all kinds of walls. Be sure to check out the most recent
pics of the construction.
This past weekend was absolutely phenominal. We gave the people the opportunity to write the name of a child or a loved one or even a complete stranger on a rock and toss it in the foundation of our new 98 foot tall cross. We believe that this new facility is not for us but for the next generation and those that are lost and hurting. We believe that they will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior and will grow in their relationship with Him through the ministry of C3 Church. That's what this is all about!
Keep giving to the DREAM. Stay faithful in your pledge. If you just started attending C3 then don't wait to give. This is a defining moment in the life of our church and you don't want to miss out on the opportunity to build this DREAM together!
Blessings,
Chris Pipes
Title: Countdown!
Date: June 12, 2007
Every time I drive by our church property I'm amazed at how quickly our new
facility has grown. The workers that you see out there are up early in the
morning and work all day until it's dark. I'm so impressed with their
commitment and their dedication to get it done in time.
The countdown has begun: 7 months away! That's it. Less than a pregnancy and less than a school year. We are highly anticipating moving into our new worship center, cafe, bookstore and children's area by December of this year. Wouldn't it be awesome to celebrate Christmas in there? I can't wait.
So as you look ahead to the next 7 months please be in prayer for our pastor and his family; the leadership and staff and those who have made the commitment to give to the DREAM. Be faithful in your pledge and know that it's not about "bricks, sticks and stuff"...but it's about changed lives!
Let's build the DREAM together!

Title: Building the DREAM
Date: April 4, 2007
God is doing amazing things at C3! Just in the first quarter of this year
we've seen 81 people give their life to Jesus Christ; 34 people were
baptized and 72 people joined our C3 family. God is awesome! Our average
weekly attendance has grown to 2,240 people and because our passion is to
provide more seats for hurting people we've added a 5th service to our
weekend schedule. With that many people coming every week it's obvious that
God wants us to build this new facility.
The construction continues to be ahead of schedule and all the primary steel construction is complete. For several weeks we watched our current worship center turn into a construction site where "hard hats" were required during the week. Thanks to Steel Dynamics and our own volunteers we didn't skip a beat for the weekend services. Great job guys!
We also experienced a miracle. We did not anticipate needing more dirt, but we were about 200,000 yards short. At $5.00 a yard...well, you do the math! Through God's grace and mercy all the dirt was donated from the 70 by-pass. Isn't God amazing?
So as you look ahead to the next 9 months before we occupy our new facility, continue to pray for our pastor and his family; the leadership and staff and those who have made the commitment to give to the DREAM. Be faithful in your pledge and know that it's not about "bricks, sticks and stuff"...but it's about changed lives!
Thanks for your partnership in building the DREAM!
Blessings,
Chris Pipes
